"Meet me" project

Part 1

Please, write a short post about you. Include the following:

• Some things we should know about you. Choose from the following: name, age, family, house, room, pets, favourite colour/lessons/singer etc. You don't need to write about all of them, of course :-)

• Some of your favourite activities and some information about them.

• What you would like to do when you grow up and why.

Write 6-10 lines, no more.

Choose a picture for your post. You can draw a picture of yourself, use your favourite cartoon’s picture (Micky Mouse, Taz etc) or any other picture you like. It may be a picture of a place, object, flower etc. Please, do not use a real picture of yourself.

Take a look at the sample below. You can take ideas but feel free to organise your own the way you want. If you have any question, leave a comment or ask me in class.

Hi all,

My name is Kate and I’m 10 years old. I’m a 6^th grade primary school student and I live in Athens. I live in a flat on the second floor. My house is big but has a small balcony. I have a sister who is 8 years old and we play together all the time. I love her.

In my free time I like playing computer games or going to my ballet classes. I have ballet lessons twice a week and I really love it. I also like swimming but only when the weather is hot.

When I grow up I would like to become a teacher because I love children and want to help them learn.
